Can I add to my order after it is placed?
Since our payment processing center pre-authorizes your credit card for the total amount of your order, we are unfortunately unable to make changes. Due to ecommerce regulations and for our customers' protection, we are not able to charge more than your original pre-authorization.
My order has not shipped yet, can I cancel it?
We try to ship as quickly as possible. Therefore, we cannot guarantee cancellation of orders that appear as not shipped as they may be in process.
Will my order expire?
We recommend that you use your product within 1 year of receiving the item. We cannot guarantee the potency of your item after 1yr. Please keep in mind that we do not include preservatives in any of our products.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, My Heart Smiles only process and ship orders located in the United States. We are not able to bill or ship to any countries outside of this area.
Are your essential oils therapeutic grade? Can they be ingested?
The essential oils offered by My Heart Smiles are 100% pure essential oils. Our essential oil line is suitable for aromatherapy, cosmetics, and body care products. Due to regulatory concerns, we are unable to recommend them for internal use. Pure essential oils such as ours are extremely concentrated and many of them are dangerous if ingested.
Do you provide samples?
Currently, we do not provide samples.
Can I use this product if I am pregnant or nursing?
As with any dietary supplement, you need to consult with your physician before any use especially if you have any medical conditions, pregnant, nursing or under medical supervision. Some essential oils may be too powerful for pregnancy and may stimulate the production of hormones or cause bleeding.
Can I return a product? What if I received the wrong item or my order was damaged?
Our guarantee to you is that if for ANY reason you wish to return the products that you have received, you may send them back to us postmarked within 14 days from the date your order is received. If you have received the wrong item or damage occurs, please contact us by phone, email, or ship back to the information located on our contact page. Items that are shipped back as a return need to be matched to your original invoice. Please provide the form from the package or order number. Returned items must be in their original, undamaged packaging, and refunds will be issued only for the unused portion of the product returned and in its original form. We cannot accept any returns mixed with other items or oils. We are not responsible for items shipped to the wrong address or if the item was damaged or loss due to shipping to the wrong address from shipping address provided on the order.

Why do I have sales tax added to my order?
My Heart Smiles charges sales tax in accordance with state laws.
Do I need to dilute My Heart Smiles essential oils when using topically?
We recommend that you dilute My Heart Smiles essential oils. This slows the evaporation process. The carrier oil helps you use less essential oil to penetrate the skin and often increases the therapeutic benefits. Some essential oils also may have a burning effect or feeling if not diluted.
PAYMENTS. You hereby authorize Company to charge the full purchase price for Products, the shipping and handling charges and taxes due as more fully set forth on the site order to the credit card or bank account you provided for the order. You assume all responsibility for notifying us of changes in credit card numbers and/or expiration dates or in any change in status of the applicable bank account. If your credit card is denied when charged or if an ACH or other debit to the depositary account is rejected, we may charge and collect from you a “bad account” fee of thirty-five ($35.00) dollars for any declined or rejected transaction. You shall additionally be responsible for and shall immediately pay us, on demand, any payments that are made to us that are subject to a subsequent reversal. Questions regarding charges must be brought to the attention of My Heart Smile’s billing department within 30 days after the end of the questioned billing period. Charges beyond 30 days old are not subject to review, reversal or refund. YOU HEREBY REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT (I) THE CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD OR BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION SUPPLIED TO COMPANY IS TRUE, CORRECT AND COMPLETE, (II) AMOUNTS DUE FROM YOU WILL BE HONORED BY YOUR BANK OR CREDIT CARD COMPANY, AND (III) YOU SHALL PAY FOR ALL YOUR PURCHASES ON THE ONLINE SITE AT THE PRICES IN EFFECT AT THE TIME INCURRED. You remain solely responsible to pay for Product purchases following declination of your credit card, ACH transaction, eCheck or otherwise.
TAX. You shall be responsible for all sales, use and other taxes and all applicable duties, levies and export fees and similar charges imposed by any federal, state, or local government entity with respect to your purchases of Products and authorize us to charge such due amounts in addition to the amounts set forth above.
